We are looking for a Manager- Software Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate.This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate Trademark product.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related degree with good communication and analytical skills.
Overall 7+ years of hand on Technical Experience in Java Development.
At least 2 years of team & people management experience with agile organisations will be a plus.
Good understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience with relational databases and database design
Experience working with distributed and diverse teams
Extensive experience working with Version Control Systems like GIT, SVN, etc
It would be great if you also had . . .
Previous experience with MongoDB and OracleDB
Previous experience working under Linux
What will you be doing in this role?
Managing our team of developers. Develop and communicate a clear, strategic vision and team goals.
Perform code and design reviews.
Maintain/upgrade existing applications.
Regularly evaluate team performance, and technical capabilities, provide colleague feedback.
Plan, delegate and direct the team’s day-to-day work to achieve operational targets.
About the Team
The Content team is geographically spread out. We have developers in Macedonia, Serbia and India. We’re working closely together with internal stakeholders in Antwerp as well as other teams with members located in Antwerp, Eastern Europe, US and India
Hours of Work
This is a permanent position with Clarivate.9 hours per day including lunch break. We have hybrid work model, flexible and employee friendly work environment.
