What we are looking for?


A competent project management professional accountable for managing the scope, schedule and budget of the assigned region. Branch Installation Manager supports the Branch by leading the team of Installation Supervisors. He/she ensures that Installation Supervisors consistently follow the KONE Way and agreed local practices in preparing the installation site, ensuring readiness to start installation, managing the installation crews and preparing for the customer and maintenance handovers. He/she coaches, supports and manages the Installation Supervisors to consistently deliver safe, high quality and efficient installations on time and in a way that meets customer’s expectations.


What will you be doing?


Project delivery and Installation


• Responsible for Installation capacity planning and accountable for optimized resource (people and tools) utilization


• Actively monitors and reports installation performance, ensures action on deviations


• Supports Installation Supervisors to maintain and manage installation schedules and costs


• Is responsible for continuous improvement of safety, quality and productivity


• Is responsible for managing the quality of installation subcontractors


• Supports Supervisors with customer interaction on site as well as with installation related customer disputes and escalations management


Leadership / People management


• Manages the competence, activities and performance of Installation Supervisors


• Proactively manages the capacity of his/her team as per the decisions made in the Sales and Operations planning process


• Performs site and process audits within his/her team to ensure compliance with installation methods, safety policies and KONE Way / locally agreed practices


Operations management


• Ensures that both KONE and subcontracted installers are trained, certified, competent and capable to carry out their work


• Is responsible for making sure that the safety and quality audits are carried out


• Is responsible for the development of supervisors, Installers and Field Trainers and installation admins.


Performance measures


Safety


· Industry incident frequency rate (IIFR)


· Lost days due to injury


· Safety Audits completion and execution of actions related to the findings


· Near miss reporting and execution of related actions


Customer


· Net Promoter Index (NPI)


· Transactional surveys coverage


Quality


· First year call out rate (FYCOR)


· Defect-free installations


· Early failure rate (EFR) cat 2


· Installation quality evaluation (IQE)


· Feedback from handover to Maintenance


Financial


· Planned resource utilization


· Actual labor utilization


· Productivity (cost per floor, hour per floor, field cost accuracy)


· Accuracy of financial planning and forecasting (field cost accuracy)


· Order book management (3C, 5 accuracy)
