Role Summary

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Global Pricing and Reference Services (PRS) product team with members across the globe. The primary responsibility will be to manage a permissioning team and provide usage reporting for the DataScope Suite of products. Projects include initiatives related to product enhancements, content integration, system and/or content improvements, and other related business needs. You will work within a team environment to execute and manage the integration of new and existing data sets, and to design, develop, test and implement improved operations processes. You will play a meaningful role in leading relevant project tasks and plans to completion and presenting to key partners.


Responsibilities:


Leadership and Team Management:


  • Overseeing the team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring access requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Hiring, training, and mentoring team members to maintain expertise in access management protocols and tools.

Usage Reporting


  • Track clients consuming more than their subscribed amounts (Bill or up-sell)
  • Identify content sets not being consumed that could be of value to clients
  • Identify consumption patterns that are better served by other products
  • Track system and subsystem usage and performance (Capacity Management)
  • Identify inefficient client workflow patterns and system usage. (e.g. bad scripts)
  • System tuning and configuration to match client consumption patterns
  • Track usage and growth trends on new content sets versus business forecasts and Identify potential simplifications/optimizations based on usage patterns

Access Control Processes:


  • Implementing and enforcing access control policies, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Reviewing and approving called out or sensitive permissioning requests.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborating closely with IT, security, and business units to ensure alignment on access needs and risk management.
  • Supporting audits by providing reports or demonstrating compliance with access policies.

Process Optimization:


  • Identifying inefficiencies in the permissioning process and implementing improvements, potentially through automation or policy updates.
  • Staying informed on the latest access management tools and best practices.

Risk Management:


  • Monitoring for and mitigating potential security risks related to unauthorized access.
  • Conducting regular reviews and certifications of access permissions.

Product Management


  • Act as a key liaison with internal teams, translating vendor commercial rules into technical/functional implementation of DataScope
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization including Content and Technology, Propositions, Support teams and possibly with third party partners/vendors and clients for project support and/or content query resolution
  • Gather, refine and prioritize requirements into stories to be consumed by the development, product and QA teams through Agile practices
  • Participate in project and product roadmaps
  • Implement and complete assigned projects, or project tasks within specified timelines
  • Communicate and handle expectations on product/project progress to all partners
  • Learn & provide requirements for platform use cases & needs
  • Provide product support on Technical Recoveries (TRTs) & Product Incident Recoveries (PIRs)
Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting platforms with mixed internal/external led dependencies is desired
  • Experience in product life cycles
  • Waterfall and Agile project experience, translating customer needs into business requirements
  • Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA, Portfolio, or Confluence
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and influence partners
  • Expertise in Excel - running complicated spreadsheets with VB and macros
  • Basic SQL preferred

Desired Experience:


  • Prior experience with DataScope suite; In depth knowledge Of Ex Files, DataStores, Commercial process, PSII, DataScope product and its content; Exposure to the PUBS Permissioning system; Knowledge on LSEG end to end order process; DSS release process; and operational business of onboarding 3rd party content
