Role Definition:
Oversees and coordinates the activities of a more complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. Supervises Operations of one to five Team Leads in assigned Manufacturing area and reports to Senior Production Manager
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe running of the respective production line – eliminating any un-safe operations and maintaining 5S and a clean working environment
Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and creating reports and records of production processes, tooling issues, and inventory; escalating issues and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality.
Meet production targets and schedules
Ensures product and process quality by conducting standard work audits, Gemba walk audits.
Focuses on Continuous Improvement and Kaizens to improve working conditions, efficiency improvements, and safety and quality improvement
Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Focus on Lean Manufacturing:
Degree Requirement: Engineering Degree or Equivalent
Experience: 4 -6 Years in a Production Environment with 2-3 years Supervisory Experience
