Overview
• The Network Products team is accountable for all Mastercard’s Core Network initiatives.
• The Network Solutions program leverages Mastercard’s classic switch, the new switch and the Mastercard Edge Platform to build new services, deliver value to customers and generate new sources of revenue.
• This position will join Clearing Enhancement Product Development team, will partners with the cross-functional global stakeholders: Product Management, Engineering – Stream & Network solutions, Business Operation, Customer delivery, Product Operations and others.

As Manager Product Development, you will:
• Drives New Product Development including contributing to Product strategy and partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver new products that provides value to the customers along with incremental revenues for Mastercard.
• Leads efforts to define application integration requirements; responsible for deployment, planning and execution of multi-tier application integration initiatives
• Partner with Servicing teams (e.g. Customer delivery, customer implementation team, Business operations) to ensure that the new Product has a robust E2E servicing plan that enables a great end user and customer experience
• Bring in relevant perspective to the conversation, and provide consulting to ensure best solution is chosen on path forward, backed by data and findings
• Detail the epics, features and stories, participate to the definition of the flows and interfaces for the product, perform joint solution design with Engineering teams, structure the roadmap and propose phasing of the delivery, prioritize the backlog, define the acceptance criteria, accept the features
• Drive institutionalized knowledge using consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Deep understanding of cards processing, clearing lifecycle, Interchange Rate Designator derivation.
• Hands on knowledge on interpreting and analyzing clearing, reconciliation, and operational reports.
• Demonstrated success in building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote teams.
• Good knowledge of authorization and clearing processes, 4 party model, and of ISO 8583 and ISO 200022 messaging.
• Consulting mindset and requirements gathering experience in elaborating requirements into features, designing solutions, understanding systems capabilities and limitations by executing on features and enhancements.
• Problem solving and pragmatic mindset, analytical skills, attention to documentation.
• Experience in structuring a product roadmap, engaging with multiple product, and engineering stakeholders to advocate, articulate, ensure buy-in, and secure dependencies.
• Be able to forge a path forward by navigating the constraints and the complexity of the ecosystem to leverage. Tenacity, exploration, analysis.
• Like to dive deep into the operational characteristics of the product
• Accountability, sense of urgency, care, passion for the domain.
• Be creative in enhancing solutions, drive knowledge management through documentation discipline and an audience centric communicator.
