Successful deployment of innovative payment solutions requires operation by MasterCard of a series of customer-related quality assurance services. Chip and contactless technologies are an important constituent of most of such new solutions and require specific support, processes and services.
The MasterCard Product Deployment Services team manages the operations and monitoring of processes and services supporting the deployment of chip-based payment solutions by MasterCard customers worldwide.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a member of the MasterCard Product Deployment Services team, you will contribute to the operations and monitoring of processes and services supporting the deployment of chip-based payment solutions by MasterCard customers worldwide. These services include:
- The Card Personalization Validation (CPV) service – The CPV service is an outsourced managed service aiming at confirming compliance to MasterCard rules and requirements of cardholder devices issued by MasterCard customers
- The Terminal Integration Process (M-TIP) service – The M-TIP service is an outsourced managed service aiming at confirming compliance to MasterCard rules and requirements of EMV terminals deployed by MasterCard customers.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Contribute to the management, on an ongoing basis, of the delivery of abovementioned customer services by outsourced accredited Formal Approval Service Providers, including exercising overall quality assurance and escalation handling
- Deliver customer second level technical support, and handle customer issues and escalations in a timely manner
- Deliver technical support to accredited CPV and TIP Formal Approval Service Providers as well as to candidates to accreditation
- Interface with other delivery units worldwide (Customer Support, Customer Delivery, Customer Implementation Services and regional Chip Lead teams) to increase their knowledge of chip processes, communicate process updates, garner feedback and identify potential process enhancements
- Champion the overall quality and consistency of the chip customer services.
All about you
- University degree, preferably in engineering, or equivalent background through work experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Good analytical skills and business writing skills
- Process-oriented mind, focus on quality
- Business acumen with the ability to provide solutions and manage customer expectations
- Experienced in managing external and internal relationships in a global context
- Good knowledge of electronic payment systems, good knowledge of chip card technology, of EMV specifications
- Self-motivated, with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a multi-cultural team environment
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-Access.
