Job Description

Role Purpose


Provide leadership and management of the Procurement operations team. Manage Procurement operations service catalogue workload and work allocation across the team, including supplier administration, contract administration, sourcing support, market research / surveys, travel / expenses, CRF invoicing support, standard reporting. Manage and report on hotel P2P system support helpdesk globally. Manage procurement helpdesk, resolving system / supplier administration and travel / expenses queries in line with SLAs. 
 


Key Accountabilities


•Lead Procurement operations team and contribute to Procurement Excellence & Corporate Services team strategy.
•Manage Procurement operations service catalogue workload and work allocation across the team, including supplier administration, contract administration, sourcing support, market research / surveys, travel / expenses, CRF invoicing support and standard reporting, meeting agreed SLA’s
•Manage and report on hotel P2P system support helpdesk globally
•Manage procurement helpdesk, resolving system / supplier administration and travel / expenses queries in line with SLAs
•Ensure relevant staff are adequately trained in the provision of the services
•Manage supplier set-up processes including sustainability, risk assessments and all required due diligence
•Maintain IHG contract database through the accurate entry and upkeep of relevant data
•Prepare and publish Procurement standard monthly reporting
•Support quarterly CRF invoicing process to ensure timely publication of CRF invoices
•Identify suggestions and input as to how services could be improved or delivered more effectively and implement changes to enhance services or service levels, ensuring continuous improvement
•Perform quality checks on own work and for team members
•Ensure correct use of and compliance to IHG ticketing system, publishing regular performance metrics

Key Skills & Experiences


•Experience leading and managing a team, ideally in an operational procurement environment or service and IT support desk
•Experience implementing and managing a support desk service including ticketing system
•Some experience in coordinating a procurement helpdesk
•Ability to lead and motivate a junior team
•Experience in managing competing priorities
•Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
