Role Purpose:


The HRIS Master Data Management Specialist is a key member of our global People Shared Services team and serves as a liaison between People and Technology departments, ensuring accurate management and maintenance of global People data across all systems. This role is crucial for maintaining data integrity and supporting HR processes through effective data management.

Base Location: Navi Mumbai


Reporting to: Deputy General Manager- GSC- People


Key Accountabilities:


  1. Data Management and Governance:
  • Monitor and maintain HR systems to ensure alignment with business requirements and organizational goals. 
  • Manage data integration between HR systems and other enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Create and maintain enterprise structure and data elements such as legal entities and business units, in relevant HR systems, in line with Logistics industry standards, and supervise changes with the Group technology team.
  • Serve as the global point of contact for HR systems data management, responding to inquiries and providing timely resolution or escalation.
  • Conduct quality assurance on organizational structures and reporting lines set in systems. 
  • Support bulk data uploads and resolve data inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
  • Educate and support super users/systems’ administrators through regular meetings and training sessions to enhance their proficiency and usage of HRIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and guidelines, maintain data security and confidentiality standards within the HRIS, and relevant access rights.
  • Participate in HR projects related to system implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  1. Technical Support: 
  • Provide technical support for HR systems architecture, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions for improvement. 
  • Implement solutions to streamline data flows and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Mange enhancement projects and changes requests through a ticketing system while adhering to DP World's unique methodology and standards.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the global HR, IT, Finance, Legal and other departments to perform regular HRIS checks.
  1. Compliance and Security: Ensure HR systems comply with global data standards, legal requirements, confidentiality levels and internal policies. Provide support during audits.
  1. Trainings & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of HR systems architecture and configurations. Share expertise knowledge with colleagues provide training and support as required.
  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate HR systems projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely completion. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, including project managers, developers, Finance analysts and HR administrators, to design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable solutions.

Required Competencies:


  1. Proven experience of 5 years minimum in managing HR Master Data and HR Systems, in an international environment.
  2. Expertise in HR information systems and data management governance best practices.
  3. Familiarity with global data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements.
  4. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  5. Project Management skills and collaboration with diverse stakeholders at all levels and across all geographies.
  6. Proficient in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools, in particular Excel and Power BI.
  7. Highly customer oriented.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field.


Minimum Experience: 


  • Minimum of 5 years in HRIS Systems Specialist roles, with expertise in managing HRIS systems such as SAP HCM, Oracle HCM, Workday, etc.
  • Experience in the logistics and supply chain industry is desirable.
