Team Summary
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including Card Issuers, Acquirers, Sellers and Fintechs) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results. In Asia Pacific (AP), VCA has geographically focused teams and the Hib based Advisory Practices team which provides expertise in specific industry or functional verticals (Strategy, Portfolio optimization, Digital, Risk, Commercial and Money Movement solutions and Seller). The incumbent will be part of VCA India and South Asia’s (INSA) Seller advisory team and will be responsible for advising Visa's Co-brands, Merchants and Acquiring clients.
The Visa Consulting and Analytics team is looking for an individual to support our consulting practice for the Seller side of our payments business focused on Co-brands Cards and Merchant Acquiring and delivering high impact projects for the relevant clients. The potential candidate will be responsible for supporting VCA client practice strategy, proactively engaging with both internal and external clients in key topics related to our advisory value-added services.

The ideal candidate will have already accumulated relevant experience in the co-brand and cards portfolio management space and will be curious about the payments industry and keen to work alongside an experienced team in gaining a deeper understanding. You will be client driven, comfortable work a project end to end and relishing the opportunity to work closely with clients to influence their future performance.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Essential specific skill-set and experience required:
• Postgraduate in Management/Science + 5 years from top-tier school or university (IIM/ISB/Other top business schools and engineering colleges/Leading Universities)
• Experience in payments/banking/strategy consulting with top-tier consulting firms AND/OR experience in payments/retail banking/strategy unit in leading Banks.
• Good knowledge of the payments industry landscape and developments, consumer trends and regulatory changes in India, Asia Pacific and globally
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
• Strong team orientation, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics, and proven ability to generate insights from data.
• Strong detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel (10%+)
