Accountabilities/Duties


The Patient Advocacy Manager will be a part of the CASA team- Corporate Affairs and State Affairs. The role will execute the overarching AZ India Patient Advocacy strategy to support AZ reputation and business priorities.


  • serve as Subject Matter Expert and work with CFT in managing patient advocacy and patient engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement patient advocacy engagement vision and strategy for AZ India.
  • Serve as the local Point of Contact for Interactions with Patients and Patient Advocacy Groups.
  • Gather insights from external stakeholders including Government to enhance AZ’s understanding of patients’ unmet needs.
  • Lead the conversation with internal and external stakeholders to help AZ achieve our goal of being patient-centric company.
  • Assist in developing policy focused advocacy engagement and strategies through collaborative platforms on policy issues specific to areas relevant to AZ.
