QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in developing, managing, and overseeing policy adherence and risk mitigation processes
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, ensuring all business operations and processes adhere to legal and industry standards 
  • Strong understanding of business operations, with the ability to assess trends, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll work in our Miramar, Tampa, San Jose, Chennai, Chengdu or Manila office as part of our global Operations Department reporting to the Sr. Manager of Operations, Helpdesk and Policy Adherence.  
You'll own the policy adherence desk within the optimize group and will develop and operationalize the vision and strategy in alignment with the overall group, department, and function. 
You'll play a critical role in ensuring that the organization's procurement and payment processes are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures. By designing, developing, and enforcing comprehensive processes to policy, communicating effectively, monitoring compliance, and leading a team, you'll contribute to the firm's overall operational effectiveness, risk management, and financial integrity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will own and enhance the operational aspects of risk mitigation and policy adherence within optimize. This includes conducting research, auditing procurement processes, operationalizing policies, documenting standard operating procedures (SOP), expanding the scope of risk management, creating efficiency plans, developing training programs, and performing audits.  
You will develop the strategic direction of the policy adherence team in collaboration with other functions and groups across the firm to support operations and process development.
You will design and operationalize robust end-to-end monitoring mechanisms to track adherence to procurement policies. You will also own all operational aspects of corrective actions developed for policy adherence processes. Implementing technology solutions, such as automated systems or data analytics tools to create efficiency at scale, will be a key part of your role.
You will manage the relationship with outsourcing partners, identify growth and improvement opportunities, and collaborate with service providers to drive compliance for the respective team or categories. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance to resolve highly complex and sensitive escalation issues related to policy, risk, compliance, and processes.
