Job Description

The role of an Operations Head in a retail automation projects delivery organization involves overseeing the efficient execution and delivery of automation projects within the retail sector. 



Responsibilities:
1.Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of retail automation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope,      and within budget.
Coordinate and manage multiple departments to achieve operational objectives.
Ensure Month on Month Revenue recognition in line with Forecast
2.Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and Control  key performance indicators (KPIs) related to 
1.On Time Delivery
2.Revenues
3.Penalty 
4.Collections
5.Margins
3.Team Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to departmental managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Work with the HR department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel, and oversee employee training programs.
4.Customer Management
Be Customer Centric and maintain excellent relationship with customer.
Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
5.Resource Management:
Manage processes and coordinate material and resource allocation specific to retail automation projects.
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
6.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities in operational processes and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
7.Continuous Improvement:
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and quality enhancement programs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team.
8.Reporting:
Reports to BU Head . Monitored by Senior management to ensure efficiency of the business and its operations.
Provide regular reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders on operational performance, initiatives, and achievements


Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
•Strong understanding of business management, financial management, data analysis, and strategic planning.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Experience: 10-15 Years of experience in leading delivery of technology projects with yearly volume of 15-20 Million USD preferably in Oil & Gas sector within budget and timelines.
