WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As part of the External Capabilities and Insights (eC&I) team, you will join a highly dynamic group of 20 professionals managing a $300M+ portfolio of external resources. These capabilities power client service across the firm. Functioning as a Center of Excellence, the team supports Client Service Teams (CSTs) and Practices with strategic category management, overseeing the sourcing, hosting, deployment, and management of 700+ cutting-edge external resources.
eC&I operates on three core pillars:
  • Client service and innovation enablement - Building an ecosystem of advanced external capabilities that align with practice-specific client strategies, innovation priorities, and knowledge needs.
  • Risk mitigation - Safeguarding the firm by managing third-party risks associated with external capabilities.
  • Efficient resource and spend management - Driving high usage, minimizing costs, and optimizing investment management through best-in-class processes.

The team delivers four critical service lines—Expert Network Services, Surveys, Data & Knowledge, and Business Research & Analytics Outsourcing—impacting over 95% of CSTs globally. It is deeply integrated with practices and boasts an exceptional global talent pool.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Global Director of eC&I to ensure the team delivers on its value proposition, drives operational excellence, and provides regional leadership in Asia. You will manage two core areas: global eC&I operations and leading eC&I efforts in Asia.
Oversee eC&I operations
You will lead eC&I’s operational processes and shape the Chassis; a group of outsourced colleagues managing external capabilities deployments and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), tech tools, and partnerships with functions like Finance, Practices, Legal, and Risk.
You will spearhead the codification and implementation of SOPs for sourcing, deploying, and managing external capabilities, risk governance, and tech enablement.
You will own and manage the team’s reporting, data collection, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), working with Experts and Specialists to deliver insightful reports and analysis.
You will oversee financial KPIs, shape the team’s financial model, monitor budget health, and provide support for significant financial decisions, including expertise on recovery models and performance monitoring.
You will lead strategic initiatives, directly shaping and driving key projects while also defining roles and responsibilities within the Chassis.
eC&I Asia regional lead
As the regional lead, you will integrate eC&I into the Firm’s Asia priorities by working with regional leadership to identify challenges, opportunities, and growth initiatives.
You will represent eC&I in regional leadership forums, sharing insights on capabilities, performance, and future opportunities.
You will drive strategy execution for the four service lines across the region, ensuring alignment with broader business goals, supporting local initiatives, and adapting strategies to the unique needs of CSTs and offices.
You will oversee the external capabilities portfolio in the India office and manage the regional eC&I team of 3 FTEs based in Gurugram, providing mentorship and leadership to foster high performance.
