Job Title: Manager of Human Resources Data, Reporting, and Analysis-Vice President

Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President (VP) to lead our Human Resources Global Data and Reporting team. Based in Bangalore, India, this leadership role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive strategic HR decisions, enhance workforce planning, and improve organizational performance. The VP will oversee the development and management of HR reporting systems, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities to support HR initiatives at a global scale.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategy:


  • Lead the India and Poland based HR Data, Reporting, and Analytics function, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall HR strategy and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap for workforce related data and reporting, driving the use of data to inform key HR decisions, including talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Provide senior leadership with actionable insights to optimize workforce management, organizational effectiveness, and employee productivity.

Data Management & Governance:


  • Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of HR-related data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of sensitive employee information.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, local data protection laws) and internal best practices.
  • Ensure high data quality standards and collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain a centralized HR data warehouse.

Reporting & Analysis:


  • Drive the design and development of customized HR reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent, workforce demographics, employee engagement, and performance.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to the workforce, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Present complex HR data insights in a clear, understandable format to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

Technology & Tools Management:


  • Assist in leading the optimization of HR technology platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
  • Stay updated with emerging HR tech trends and tools, evaluating their potential impact on HR analytics and data management.

Team Development & Collaboration:


  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of HR data analysts and reporting specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership, presenting HR data in a compelling way to support key business initiatives.

Required Qualifications:


Education:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in HR analytics, data science, or business intelligence (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HR Analytics Certification) are a plus.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in HR analytics, data reporting, and HR systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing HR reporting systems and analytics platforms in a global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and how to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
  • Expertise in advanced data analysis tools and techniques, including proficiency in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) and HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).

Skills:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data and extract actionable insights.
  • Expertise in data visualization and presentation to senior management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, multi-functional projects, and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in global or multi-national companies with exposure to diverse workforce data.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications in HR data analysis.
  • Fluency in both English and any regional language of India is a plus.
