Overview:

Within our commercial Insights, Analytics, and Data organization, we are transforming to better power decision-making across our end-to-end commercialization process, from business development to late lifecycle management.


Key Responsibilities:

Analytics and Insights Generation:


  • Execute global market research projects and manage a consistent, timely market research process across global products.
  • Finalize questionnaires, develop recruiting lists, aggregate data, interpret results, cross-reference secondary sources, and report findings.
  • Deliverables support planning and decision-making across multiple functional areas such as finance, manufacturing, product development, and commercial.

Innovation and Best Practices:


  • Drive synergies across the franchise, foster innovation and best practices, and create solutions to bring speed, scale, and shareability to planning processes.
  • Implement innovative analytics techniques to drive insights generation across different franchises.

Stakeholder Management:


  • Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders within the allocated GBU and tasks, with an end objective to develop education and communication content as required.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders for project planning, setting up timelines and maintaining budgets.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making.

Project Management:


  • Drive and lead project management through various phases, including kick-off, execution, insight generation, and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with research vendors and Sanofi and Regeneron market research leads to develop and share final reports and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor MR spend to ensure it remains within budget and establish guidelines based on historical spend by the product lifecycle.

Quality Control and Compliance:


  • Ensure high scientific standards for the output produced by the medical writing group.
  • Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable standards.
  • Refresh reports on a frequency/cycle basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually), along with QC checks for each refresh.

Performance and Reporting:


  • Refresh existing reports and identify improvement opportunities in reporting and BI tools.
  • Create dashboards to synthesize and visualize key information and enable business decisions.
  • Develop deal tracking analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Enhance data access across various sources, develop tools, technology, and processes to improve quality and productivity.
Performance Indicators:
  • Adherence to timelines and quality targets.
  • Feedback from stakeholders on overall satisfaction and deliverables.
  • Achievement of project milestones and adherence to budget.

About you


Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product market research and commercial analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of common databases like IQVIA, APLD, Citeline, Evaluate, Cortellis, and CRM data systems (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce).
  • Demonstrated leadership and management in driving innovation and automation leveraging advanced analytical techniques.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong learning agility and ability to manage ambiguous environments.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with strong presentation skills.
  • Team player who is curious, dynamic, result-oriented, and can work collaboratively.
  • Ability to think strategically and operate effectively in an international matrix environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative market research, and data analytics capabilities for primary and secondary activities.
  • Knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, Q) and programming languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R, VBA).
  • Experience with data visualilzation and analytical platforms (e.g., Databricks, Jupyter Notebook) and tools like Power BI, Qliksense, Tableau, Smartsheet, and Alteryx.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and slide creation.
  • Project management abilities and an aptitude for problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.
Education:
  • Advanced degree in areas such as Management, Statistics, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, or related field (e.g., PhD, MBA, Masters).
Languages:
  • Excellent knowledge of English and strong communication skills – written and spoken.
