Overview Forescout is seeking a Manager of Marketing Data Science to lead our data-driven marketing initiatives. This role demands a seasoned leader with extensive experience in data science and the ability to manage complex, large-scale data projects within a B2B environment. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of professional execution experience in data science, making them well-suited to drive strategic decisions and influence marketing outcomes significantly.
What You Will Do You will oversee the strategic application of vast amounts of data from multiple systems, guiding mass data updates and sophisticated modelling to enhance marketing reporting and effectiveness. This position requires a high-calibre professional capable of steering complex data initiatives and formulating strategies that impact the entire marketing landscape.
Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics
  • Develop and execute advanced marketing analytics strategies, including predictive and prescriptive modeling, to forecast market dynamics and enhance business outcomes at an executive level.
  • Champion the use of advanced statistical models and machine learning techniques to optimise marketing campaigns and drive data-driven decisions. 
Big Data Management & Engineering
  • Manage the strategic use of big data technologies, designing data architectures and data governance frameworks that ensure data integrity and utility across the organisation.
  • Oversee data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrity measures using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
Predictive Modeling & Machine Learning
  • Lead the creation and deployment of predictive models using algorithms such as random forests, gradient boosting, and neural networks to predict customer behaviors and optimise marketing ROI.
  • Implement and manage MLOps practices to ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of machine learning models across marketing functions.
Data Integration & Advanced Data Manipulation
  • Ensure robust data integration from various marketing platforms like Salesforce, Marketo, and 6sense, using sophisticated ETL tools and data manipulation techniques.
  • Handle complex data manipulations and transformations to maintain a cohesive data environment that supports comprehensive marketing strategies.
Reporting, Visualisation & BI Strategy
  • Develop and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards and visualisations that provide real-time insights into marketing performance, tailored for diverse stakeholders.
  • Craft and implement a BI strategy that supports executive-level decision-making and strategic marketing planning.
Quantitative Research & Advanced Statistical Techniques
  • Employ advanced quantitative methods like Monte Carlo simulations and Bayesian inference to support and refine marketing analytics.
  • Continuously evolve analytical models based on new data and business requirements to stay ahead of market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership to align data strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of data analysts and scientists, promoting a culture of data literacy and analytical rigor within the marketing department.
What You Will Bring To Forescout
Required Skills & Qualifications 
  • A proven track record in data science leadership, particularly in a B2B SaaS or technology-focused enterprise.
  • More than 10 years of professional experience in data science execution, with a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and strategic applications.
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, along with experience in big data technologies and data warehousing solutions.
Preffered Skills 
  • Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders in data-driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud technology, advanced modeling techniques, and data governance best practices.
