The AB Marketing Team is looking for a Manager, Lead Development Operations to lead a team of Salesforce developers and program managers in building scalable solutions that optimize lead management, customer engagement, and marketing automation.
About the Role
As a Manager, Lead Development Operations, you will oversee both the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions while driving operational efficiencies in lead management and marketing automation processes. You will be responsible for leading a team of Salesforce developers and program managers, setting the technical vision, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to integrate Salesforce with various marketing platforms, optimize processes, and drive automation.
Key job responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Salesforce developers and program managers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
* Technical & Operational Strategy: Define coding standards, architectural best practices, and scalable system approaches for Salesforce development while aligning program management efforts with business objectives.
* Project Execution: Oversee end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring seamless integration with marketing automation and lead management systems.
* Process Optimization: Drive automation and process improvements in lead management, CRM workflows, and marketing campaign execution.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to integrate Salesforce with tools such as Pardot, Amazon Connect, 6Sense, and AWS services.
* Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and strategic updates to leadership, ensuring alignment of Salesforce and program initiatives with business goals.
* Operational Excellence: Ensure high-quality development practices, CI/CD pipeline management, and automated deployment processes for Salesforce applications.
* Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex system issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Salesforce and integrated systems.
Basic Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Salesforce or other CRM solutions.
* 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring teams, including both technical and program management functions.
* Experience leading Agile development teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with process optimization in lead management or marketing operations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic technical and operational decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in B2B marketing automation and CRM integrations.
* Hands-on experience with Pardot, Amazon Connect, 6Sense, or similar marketing tools.
* Experience managing distributed teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Strong ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing teams
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
