Responsibility:
- We are looking for Infrastructure Automation Manager with 18 to 20 years of overall experience, with at least last 6+ years in design and deployment of automation platforms and tools.
- Infrastructure Automation Manager who’s looking to drive continuous improvements via automation and promotes industry best practice in the infrastructure organization.
- In this role you will be responsible to define infrastructure strategy to deliver robust and resilient infrastructure platforms, both on-prem and Cloud which will be used by application and infrastructure services teams.
- You will be responsible for leading, managing and developing teams of global DevOps engineers, and lead by example to deliver excellent results in line with business objectives.
- You will evaluate and drive forward CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps tools for performance monitoring, automation, scalability, and ensuring security is maintained throughout.
- You will drive forward SaaS, PaaS and tooling improvements, whilst ensuring security through proactive mitigation of malicious security risks.
- Ensuring appropriate controls and governance are followed when deploying and maintaining infrastructure, and deployment of software onto the infrastructure.
- Understanding of appropriate infrastructure approaches to hosting various systems and components (Web clients, APIs and Services, databases etc).
- Reviews and negotiates vendor contracts. Maintains vendor relationship to keep current on industry developments, trends, and applications.
- Provides different levels of support for automation platform, code utilized in automated environment and manage incidents in case of failures.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience of End-to-End software development cycles including, experience of working in collaborative and agile teams and associated frameworks (e.g. Scrum)
- Understanding of traditional, waterfall and Agile development modes
- Knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows, RedHat Linux and Unix
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated automation
- Experience of reviewing, producing and / or validating infrastructure designs
- Experience of network design and implementation
- Experience of database solutions, such as SQL Server and Oracle
Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent engineering degree preferred
- Experience in managing diversified teams
- Experience in Banking and Financial institution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership and cross functional collaboration experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to priorities tasks
- Broad understanding of Infrastructure technology Towers
- Understanding of Infra Automation framework
