Manager Infrastructure Architecture

Job Description:

The VMware Organization is searching for a candidate who is proficient with standard general purpose compute hardware in a EXsi and VMware environment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience within VMware system administration, with knowledge of physical infrastructure and hardware such as HPE ProLiant and Synergy series (x86 and Linux), GPU, Synergy. We are looking for a good communicator and a problem solver individual.

Job Requirements

• 15+ years of experience with Vmware EXsi.
• 15+ years of VMware Administration: scripting, upgrades and configuration Management, performance management, troubleshooting and analysis.
• Experience of Server hardware, CPU technology, Memory, IO subsystem, Fabric Switches, various Ethernet hardware/NICs, bonding, etc.
• Good skills in TCP/IP Networking, network tuning.
• Experience installing layered products in a timely fashion, analyzing & troubleshooting complex systems and familiarity with writing test documentation/results.
• Good understanding of system monitoring, such as CPU, Memory, Network IO, Disk IO.
• Good communication with internal and external stakeholders 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining virtualization software: Ensuring that all virtualization process components function properly. 
• Maintaining computer infrastructure: Fixing bugs and updating software 
• Installing, testing, and configuring: Installing, testing, and configuring VMware clusters across multiple data centres 
• Securing and managing: Securing and managing VMware clusters across multiple data centres 
• Supervising storage arrays: Supervising storage arrays that handle VDI and VM work loads 
• Communicating: Interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Monitor and analyses system logs.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Creating New VM and Assign Network VLAN
• Manage & Maintain Enclosure of ESXi Host Cluster
• Virtual Connect Networking Concepts for Enclosures
• Perform VM Migration of one Data center to another Data enter.
• Troubleshooting and resolve VM migration issue.
• Implementing the Storage extension of VM/ LUN.
• Knowledge in Storage replication method Migration activity.
