Our Innovation, Data & Analytics (IDA) function is focused on driving innovation through optimizing how we leverage data to drive strategy and differentiate ourselves from the competition. As we develop and establish an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us also toward greater focus on the use of resource data and data driven insights, we are seeking a Strategic Resource Analyst. In this role, you will be a vital part contributing to the maturing Resource Capacity and Demand Planning within IDA. As Strategic Resource Analyst you are responsible for analyzing and optimizing the allocation of resources withing IDA to ensure efficient and effective management of resources. This role involves gathering, reviewing, correcting data, reporting, and collaboration with various department and managers to provide insights to support decision making for current and future investments utilizing resource utilization information.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
·Must have moderate to extensive experience in analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting large datasets from multiple sources to identify resource trends, usage, and needs (shortfalls / excess of resources), and recommend efficiency improvements on current and new demand.
·Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate data analysis, forecasting and reporting available to various levels of management including senior management.
·Data is essential to AXA XL’s success ability to analyze large data sets from multiple sources for accuracy in all systems. Actively spot and raise data improvement opportunities and suggest new advancements for mitigation processes.
·Identify and validate data errors and process corrections in source systems.
·Proactive in identifying potential resource constraints, ability to develop innovative solutions to complex resource challenges.
·Support detailed cross-value stream analysis of bottlenecks and imbalances in demand type and/or resource skillsets to aid in optimization of overall delivery. Ability to interpret data to anticipate future resources needs and challenges.
·Ability to present complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, providing data driven insight for better decision making on resource capacity aligned to current and new pipeline demand.
·Assist in the development and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource utilization and identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
·Ability to present in a clear and timely manner insights into resource resolving resource conflicts amongst competing projects and priorities.
·Prepare recommendations, timelines, and proposals on how to resolve resource gaps and how to better optimize the function’s resource pool.
·Monitor and assist to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and standards related to resource management.
·Develop, write, and update clear concise, accurate resource management documentation, guidelines processes, procedures, and best practices.
·Create user guides, training material, standard operating procedures (SOPs)and reports for internal teams to ensure consistency in resource management practices.

·Relevant years’ experience in a data role (analytics, specialist, or engineer) supporting at least one area of a Data related field.
·Excellent data analysis skills including the ability to explore, interpret and summarize data, as well as the ability to draw insights from the data-on-data quality and resource capacity.
·Displays a resilient and adaptable style, with a track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions and priorities.
·Partner with cross functions within IDA, and more broadly Operations and Technology - build effective internal and cross functional relationships with colleagues, providing insights into resource capacity data and identify areas of improvement to benefit AXA XL.
