We are hiring an mid-level operations business manager who supports the broader operations team, playing a vital role in the daily management and efficiency of business operations. This role focuses on assisting senior management with operational oversight, process optimization, and performance monitoring. It’s an excellent position for learning about complex operations while contributing to their execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support
· Assist in Process Improvement: Work with the operations team to identify areas for improvement in workflows and processes.
· Propose enhancements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
· Daily Operational Oversight: Help manage day-to-day operational tasks, including monitoring workflows, handling operational issues, and ensuring processes run smoothly.
· Coordination: Coordinate between teams (Global Operations, Business, Project Managers, Risk, Compliance & Technology) to ensure timely execution of operations and resolve any bottlenecks.
2. Reporting & Data Management
· Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze operational data to track performance metrics (KPIs). Identify trends and provide insights to senior management.
· Management Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports for senior management, including operational performance, risk status, and key project updates.
· Dashboard Maintenance: Update and maintain operational dashboards to provide real-time insights into business operations.
3. Risk Management & Compliance Support
· Assist with Risk Monitoring: Help monitor and assess risks within the operations. Support in implementing risk controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
· Regulatory Compliance Support: Ensure that the team follows established policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements. Assist in compliance audits by gathering and preparing necessary documentation.
· Issue Escalation: Identify potential operational issues and escalate them to senior management for resolution.
4. Project & Change Management
· Support Project Implementation: Assist with the execution of operational projects, ensuring deadlines are met and helping with coordination across teams.
· Assist in Change Initiatives: Support change management efforts within the operations team, ensuring that all team members are informed and prepared for transitions in processes or tools.
5. Financial Monitoring
· Budget Tracking Support: Assist senior management with tracking the operations budget, forecasting, and identifying areas for cost savings.
· Vendor Management Support: Help in managing vendor relationships, work with corporate services closely to ensure all vendor invoices are processed as per schedule and assist in onboarding new vendors when there is a requirement.
6. Technology & Process Automation
· Support Technology Integration: Assist in the implementation and optimization of technology tools used in operations. Help train the team on how to use new systems or upgrades.
· Automation Support: Help identify areas within operations where automation can improve efficiency. Work with senior managers and IT to automate repetitive or manual tasks.
7. Client & Internal Team Support
· Service Level Monitoring: Ensure that service delivery meets internal and external client expectations. Assist in tracking SLAs and addressing any gaps in performance.
8. Training & Development
· Onboarding & Training Support: Assist in tracking training of new team members on operational processes, tools, and compliance requirements.
· Knowledge Sharing: Help document and share best practices with the team to ensure everyone is aligned with operational standards and goals.
