What You’ll Do


Change & Release Management


  • Serve as the Change and Release Manager for HRIT, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of system updates, enhancements, and deployments.
  • Ensure minimal business disruption and compliance with governance policies during releases.

Technical Leadership & System Development


  • Participate in design review meetings, providing technical estimates for HR and Payroll system deliveries.
  • Oversee configuration, development, and deployment activities, managing priorities, cross-functional projects, task assignments, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for configuring business rules, workflows, and customizations in the HR system landscape.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Project & Stakeholder Management


  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and issues.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate with Integration and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.

Team Leadership & People Management


  • Manage and support teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Identify and mitigate application support risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements.
  • Help build and maintain a document repository.

Workday Expertise & Continuous Improvement


  • Stay updated on Workday product releases, enhancements, and industry best practices.
  • Review and lead Workday Service Updates.

Experience:


  • 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
  • 5+ years leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Workday projects.
  • Experience managing a team of Workday specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions.

Technical Expertise:


  • Experience in developing and maintaining Workday architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Strong understanding of HR data flow across enterprise IT architecture, including systems such as OKTA, AD, Azure, Financial Systems, Sourcing, T&E, ServiceDesk, and external vendor platforms like ADP.
  • Experience in establishing cross-functional standards for applications, systems, and operational processes.
  • Ability to provide technical mentorship and guidance to application teams.
  • Proven ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Other Skills:


  • Must have experience managing Workday technical team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    We are a primarily in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work in the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave
