We are looking for a Manager of the India Growth Sales Team to support the success and continued growth of India-based advertisers to reach Amazon customers globally: on Amazon, across our other owned and operated properties, on other high-quality destinations across the internet, and on millions of Kindles, tablets, and mobile devices. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. We are looking for an analytical thinker who is experienced and passionate about developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs for our Growth Sales organization. We need a leader who can work and thrive in a fast paced environment and use their great communication skills to lead a team. If you have a strong reputation for leading and scaling high performance sales teams and have a talent for responding effectively to market direction, consumer needs and competitive positioning this could be the right role for you!
Key job responsibilities
• Hire and develop the best: attract, hire and retain top talent
• Manage a team of 6 direct reports
• Manage a team responsible for promoting awareness of Amazon Ad solutions and driving engagement with customers who have started a retail business on Amazon but are not using Amazon Ad solutions efficiently enough
• Support leadership strategies and build a high-performing team to execute them, based on your data-driven insights, deep knowledge on the industry and customer understanding
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to share experiences, learnings and best practices derived from APAC initiatives
• Foster effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders
• Create and implement programs and utilize tools to drive team performance and operational excellence of your team
• Possess and drive customer obsession; coach team to deliver the highest level of educational and consultant services to our clients
• Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

- 5+ years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills of English
- Strong ownership, autonomy and bias for action
- Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses; proven track record of successful internal and external relationship management.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills; Experience interpreting complex data and making business recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Experience with search/performance advertising (5+ years) at a major advertising agency, digital marketing agency or media provider
- Experience working with global teams
- Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary term
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals
- MBA or other related Master's degree
