ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

Let’s change the world.  The Manager Global Procurement – Data & Analytics and Compliance is responsible for gathering and prioritizing data & analytics use cases across Procurement and documenting requirements to determine execution strategy (i.e., build vs. buy). This role will need to understand complex problems the business is facing & provide insights based on data-driven recommendations. This role will drive the build and implementation of analytics use cases (including cost analysis, demand forecasting, supplier risk, etc.) to elevate desired business outcomes. This role will be expected to provide analysis of performance across the organization, facilitate insightful reporting of key metrics, and support the assessment of new and special projects within the Center of Excellence. This role will also support and participate in developing the analytics roadmap & assisting with driving project timelines and outcomes. 

 Roles & Responsibilities:

Data & Analytics Use Case Build & Implementation: 

• Gather, document, and prioritize business and Procurement requirements, while providing recommendation to the Digital roadmap based on level of impact 
• Support the portfolio of prioritized analytics uses cases to build & operate for Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay 
• Coordinate build phase of analytics use cases, including detailed data gathering, insights reporting, prioritization, integration, etc., with relevant stakeholders
• Understand and summarize advanced analytical techniques, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, to gain deeper insights into procurement data 
• Support the development and distribution of ad-hoc and routine reporting data 
• Coordinate with global process owners, digital strategy leads and others as required to advance the Data and Analytics strategy via use case execution 
• Support the maintenance of spend data including working with external providers to cleanse data  
• Drive project / initiatives management including timelines, stakeholder identification, objective documentation, etc.  

Continuous Improvement & Governance: 

• Proactively identify areas of improvement through gathering stakeholder feedback 
• Support continuous improvement efforts to ensure processes minimize manual effort associated with collecting and refreshing data 
• Analyze and monitor the ongoing ROI on data and analytics use cases, providing recommendations for improvement 
• Ensure that data and analytics practices within procurement adhere to relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage and enhance compliance by leveraging procurement data to ensure adherence to global regulatory standards and internal policies. Develop robust data analytics frameworks to monitor risks and enforce compliance, effectively coordinating with legal and audit teams to maintain integrity and transparency across all procurement operations.

Training Execution 

• If required, support training sessions in partnership with key SMEs, including live training and training videos on use case functionality & enhancements 

Key Stakeholder Management:  

• Coordinate across Procurement and the business to ensure business requirements (includes functional & regional) are gathered, met as necessary and continuously improved 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify root causes behind metrics, and generate insights 

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced data/information and analytics management (including cycle times, KPI’s and SLA’s), continuous improvement expertise, and project management skills 

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights 

• Experience with procurement technology and software systems, such as procurement ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning), spend analysis tools, and data visualization tools 

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Prior experience in managing teams

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of Sourcing, Management Consulting, or Project Management
