Job Description
  • Handling and monitoring shipments in containers, bulk, and rail for India in compliance with contractual requirements/conditions.
  • Working on Letters of credit - Letter of credit to be checked and verified in accordance with contractual terms and conditions followed by issuance & presentation of documents well within time.
  • Experience of handling high seas sales and purchases – contracts, documentation, payment follow-up.
  • Coordination with shipping line and freight bookings, handling complete customs formalities, logistical procedure.
  • Knowledge of operations at Container Freight Stations, port operations, land borders.
  • Complete pre and post shipment documentation included but limited to customs filing, issuance of Bill of Lading/Certificate of origin/Phytosanitary certificate/Fumigation certificate etc, issuance of BRCs, closure of ORMs with banks.
  • Good Stakeholder management and communication.
  • Handle claims & insurance matters related to the shipments.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate records, MIS, and reporting high-lighting potential delays or defaults.

Qualifications
  • Any Graduate, MBA, M.Com.
  • 10+ Years of experience in International Execution.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
