Your Career

As part of the Strata Network Security Management Infra Leader, you are responsible for team developing and innovating solutions for Palo Alto Networks next-generation Firewalls. Specifically in the areas of Logging Management, Config management, Machine Learning, Data lake management, Big Data technologies, High availability and overall Management Infra and UI architecture and User experience infra. You will also be responsible for innovation, developing proof of concept and productizing 'new' ideas by implementing them and collaborating with team members.

Your Experience

• Responsible for development of NextGen Network Security Components and Protocols for State-of-the-art firewalls deployed at Enterprise, Data Centre, Cloud, and Service Provider environments.
• Development of features and architecture for NextGen Security management with Hardware, and Virtual platforms in areas of Network Security/Threats.
• Develop scalable architecture for Management UI - Cloud / On Prem, Log collection, Log analysis, Config Management, , telemetry, remote telemetry and Patchable infra.
• Develop scalable software solutions for a distributed session architecture spanning across multiple solutions provided by Palo Alto.
• Work with multi-functional team members on feature requirements, including but not limited to Product Management, QA, Support, etc
• 2+ years Management experience is must 
• Product visionary, ideas on competitive edge, Effective decision maker, take ownership and independently drive, lead tasks and assignments Qualifications: Your Experience
• Strong experience in Programming  and large scale software development .
• Strong technical knowledge in computer architecture, Systems engineering, Management Infra.
• Experience in High Availability *
• Experience in Multi Device management , Network / Enterprise Management infrastructure, Big data handling.
• Experience in Firewall and Security  is desired.
• Can-do attitude and ability to take initiative and drive open issues to completion
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with multi-functional groups.

Education:  

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience

The Team

Our engineering team is at the core of the NextGen Firewall as a service building Cloud Security services natively on Cloud Providers. Engineers on our team work on all aspects of the management and control plane of the service. This includes, Activation, Onboarding, Configuration, Orchestration, Data, APIs and much more. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.
