The #NielsenIQ technology teams are working on building a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on #NielsenIQ data and insights to innovate and grow. We are looking for an experienced Microsoft.Net expert to be part of our Technology hub in India to build, maintain and transform our factory systems, which are critical to the business.  


Responsibilities  


  • Design & develop solutions using Microsoft.Net & related tech stack as an individual contributor.  


  • Own end-to-end solution design for several application components  


  • Provide epic-level estimates and drive delivery to meet expectations.  


  • Responsible for planning and delivering your & the team’s commitments.  


  • Management of the people in the team to improve engagement and efficiency.  


  • Guide & mentor the team on tasks/activities of an increasingly complex nature, that may require extensive research and analysis.   


  • Present project status and team achievements to senior leadership   


  • Evaluate technologies we can leverage, including open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools.   


  • Provide solutions to improve process quality, understand emerging technologies, standards, and best practices in cross-platform development.  


  • Demonstrate mastery in applying concepts, and methodologies to innovative solutions.  


  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize efficiency.  



Qualifications

We’re looking for people who have.   


  • 12+ years of experience in Microsoft.Net and related frameworks programming  


  • High proficiency in a technology stream and can quickly adapt/upskill to new technologies.  


  • Proven track record in designing solutions to solve business problems.  


  • Good experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust data processing engine using industry-standard frameworks.  


  • Hands-on configuration management, monitoring, and performance tuning of database operations  


  • Ability to foster an environment of innovation, experimentation, and inclusion in solving problems, seeking, and embracing diversity of thought.  


  • Ability to successfully build relationships with stakeholders and navigate complex social environments.  


  • Experience in team & performance management.   


  • Build relationships with other teams and lead component integration & E2E validation.  


  • Expert understanding of .Net Frameworks, .Net Core, MVC, WCF, Web API, REST API 


  • Good understanding of Design Patterns   


  • Good understanding of SQL concepts   


  • Good knowledge of DevSecOps and Cloud skillset is an added advantage. 


  • Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
