How will you make an impact in this role?
The incumbent would be part of the Regulatory Decision Science team reporting into Director - Regulatory Decision Science and will lead a team of 4 risk management professionals. The incumbent is expected to provide thought leadership to manage Regulatory Risk Models (CCAR/CECL/IFRS9).

• Develop, implement, and monitor statistical models used to forecast credit loss under various macro-economic scenarios for regulatory use-case (CCAR/CECL/IFRS9).
• Design and develop benchmark Machine Learning models that help make better business decisions under different economic environment and create efficiencies in the existing processes.
• Providing modeling support and expertise on credit loss forecasting to various cross-functional teams, including Finance, Corporate Planning, Treasury, Model Validation, Audit and Customer Management.
• Leveraging Stress Testing expertise to drive more informed business decisions, which includes providing LGS (Loss Given Stress), Recession readiness support for various business initiatives
• Explore data science opportunities within the regulatory space to improve our risk discrimination and / or improve our economics over and above existing framework

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields from Premier Institutes only
• 3-5 years of past experience in an Analytical/Modeling role. Experience in dealing with regulatory models is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields from Premier Institutes only
• 3-5 years of past experience in an Analytical/Modeling role. Experience in dealing with regulatory models is an added advantage.
• Well versed in Python, PySpark, and handling big data
• Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a tremendous will to win.
• Strong people relationship building, management and influencing skills
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
