Job Description
Job Summary:
Manage credit and collection activities and risk for India and SEA region. Develop, implements and maintains procedures. Recommend credit limits and handle special credit arrangements and problem collection accounts. Oversee analysis of accounts receivable, ageing of accounts to determine overdue accounts, and collection procedures. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for credit & collection risk management of India and SEA region
- Engage and work with sales team/BU team for payment term approval, Credit limit set-up in SAP and HiRadius.
- Keep control over Pastdue performance of debts and take necessary actions in collaboration with partners
- Keep control over customer’s credit limit and AR exposure
- Collaborate with partners and can take calculated risk with holistic approach
- Engage with Distributors to resolve payment challenges, if any
- Manage month-end activities related to ageing reviews, bad debt accruals.
- Liaison with Bank for Bank Guarantee and Letter of Credit matters
- Handle internal and external audit from AR perspective
- Engage with BU/Sales leadership to get resolution of AR disputes and seek necessary support from Sales/BU on critical collection
- Support manager on multiple critical projects. Meet customers and distributors to ensure resolution of AR (Account Receivables) disputes.
- Achieve high performance goals for team and guide team to achieve those goals.
- Manage internal control over Credit and collection activities inline with internal control policies and procedures.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- In-depth experience of credit and collection management
- In-depth experience of credit and collection risk management
- Develop a team specialized into credit and collection
- Command over English language-reading and writing
- Minimum 10-15 Years of experience
- Education Qualifications - B.com/CA/MBA
- You will report to - REGIONAL CREDIT CONTROLLER, ASIA PACIFIC
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience of India & SEA market
- Experience in SAP and Hi-radius software.
- Hands on knowledge of MS excel and PowerPoint.
- Open to travel within India and outside India (5% to 10%)
