Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
• Manage a team of cloud engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with senior management to align cloud projects with business objectives.
• Participate in the design and implementation of cloud solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their development.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Ensure the efficient and secure operation of cloud services.
• Communicate project status and address concerns with stakeholders.
• Encourage the use of automation and DevOps practices in cloud engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineering and cloud engineering
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Prior experience in leading engineering teams and/or projects
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a related field a plus
• Relevant cloud certifications and experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) a plus
