Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Job Function: 


  • Strengthen the relationship with commercial teams, stakeholders and provide necessary support required to provide analytics & Insights.
  • Lead EPD projects and initiatives. Partner with key stakeholders to design policies and systems for implementation of EPD priorities.
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of an analysis to define outcome.
  • Influence and collaborate with other teams and senior management.
  • Investigate and analyze trends through market, internal sales and execution data.

Core Job Responsibilities:


Analysis and story boarding


  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate various data sets and develop integrated business analysis for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
  • Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to communicate data insights. Create storyboards that effectively convey the data story to stakeholders2.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create clear and concise reports and visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) that summarize findings and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns and Interpret data which helps business in critical decisions.
  • Mapping market opportunities and Gap analysis
  • Price point analysis impact on business. New product launch analysis.
  • Therapy, Brand analysis with insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements.
  • Present findings to senior leadership to drive business decisions.
  • Understand the various processes/systems and identify area for improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Project Management:


  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns2.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records of decisions.
  • Monitor progress, manage periodic communication and drive adherence to project plan
  • Work closely with business to understand their data needs and develop solutions to influence the business.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure they are equipped with the right directions and guidance to execute the project within agreed timelines.

People & Stakeholder Management:


  • Set goals and drive the overall roadmap for team.
  • Motivate, empower, and develop personnel and identify those with the best strengths for the job.
  • Coordination with IQVIA, SMSRC, or market audit related vendors

  • Analytical skills so they can understand significant amounts of information and data.
  • Communication skills for gathering and interpreting data and presenting the results to the stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking skills to assess all available information and determine the marketing strategy that is best for a company.
  • Detail-oriented to complete precise data analysis.
  • Manage deliverables from multiple sources to schedule with other priorities simultaneously.
  • Strengthen relationship with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Automate manual activities to maximize the team efficiency.

Education & experience:  


  • Graduate or MBA
  • Overall >5 years of experience in Market Research, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Project Management

Competencies / Skills


  • Market Research Analysis experience
  • In-depth knowledge of IQVIA, SMSRC
  • Great capacity to understand and relay complex data across industries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic / critical thinking abilities
  • Good project management skills
  • Customer centric and understanding needs to business.
  • Good interpersonal skills – able to influence and engender collaboration with other teams and senior management.
  • Problem solving approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of analytics tools will be added advantage.
