Job Description

IN AMXL is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) Program Manager-I for its XLFCs. As a program manager, you will own operational processes, standardize, control and continuously improve them. You’ll work with various stakeholders – FC ops, Category, EFPM Tech, CBW and AOP teams to help us continuously improve on our FC quality and performance, create the right strategy and execute it.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as gatekeeper in assigned process areas for the change management process
· Define the right process and work with operations to establish the right process path
· Work with stakeholders to eliminate gaps in system and have a systemic fix of gaps
· Demonstrates discretion in coordination of project scoping and selection to align with business objectives
· Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
· Partner with tech organization on the business requirement documents (BRD)
· Audits completed projects to verify sustained impact
A day in the life
Every day, you’ll focus on our business objectives – from improving efficiency to increasing reliability – and find creative ways to make these happen. You’ll be part of a team driving major projects to standardize our processes and make improvements to our operations. That will involve being in regular contact with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders to define the project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts. You’ll also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with the new processes you implement.
As the ACES Program Manager of XLFCs, you’ll be the expert in charge of spotting the problems, seeing the gaps and inefficiencies, and creating solutions. Deep diving into data will help you find those challenges and keep track of the effectiveness of your improvements.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
