Job Description

Role Purpose

Technology_VOIS is an internal organisation in Vodafone that acts as an internal service provider to the local markets or group functions (referred as “customer” going forward).


This role is responsible for supporting activities pertaining financial reporting and governance for a particular account in T_VOIS. As a key member of the T_VOIS Business Relationship and service insourcing team, the Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data aggregation across multiple teams, analysis, and develop/present dashboards.  The role will involve, coordination with different stakeholders (both external and internal), understanding problem and determining data needs to build meaningful insight for senior leaders.  The role demands experience in reporting, dashboarding, strong communication skills, stakeholder management and commercial awareness.


The role includes working with Senior stakeholders T_VOIS, Local Market & Group Functions in all business areas.
 




Core competencies, knowledge, and experience
  • Taking meeting notes and following-up on actions until closure Degree in management information systems, finance, econometrics, statistics, or similar.
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting metrics across complex and globally distributed organisations.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work autonomously and to strict deadlines, with high levels of delegated authority.
  • Demonstrable experience as a reporting analyst.
  • Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes.
  • Overall, 7-10 years of telecom/relevant Industry experience
     


Experience:
  • Excellent presentation, data analysis and visualization, communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience creating data-driven insights and reports.
  • Ability to create, update, and share databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities.
  • Attentive and considerate team player.
  • Expert in using MS-Office tools, Excel, Marcos, Power Bi, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Teams
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Access and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and other reporting tools and interfaces.


Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • Excellent presentation, data analysis and visualization, communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience creating data-driven insights and reports.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
  • Perform projects performance data analysis and develop/present dashboards, PowerPoints and Exec summary.
  • Lead the reporting and tracking of delivery against team’s strategic objectives and key performance indicators. 
  • Gathering raw data from relevant individuals and sources in specified portfolio. 
  • Handle information with confidentiality and proprietary nature.
  • Ability to work on many projects and project teams simultaneously.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting solutions including business intelligence.
  • Reporting on insights obtained, which might be utilized to inform business strategies.
  • Ability to make recommendations based on data and analysis, and report with a clear story.
  • Create ad-hoc reports for the business to support performance management of key verticals.
  • Detailed analysis in the areas of HC, Opex, Efficiency, Recharges (Inbound and Outbound)
  • Understanding the VSOL Recharges to Customers and provide the profitability view necessary for detailed analysis.
  • Understand the Organization strategy and provide guidance to the Finance Business partners during the budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Ensure the submissions are complete on time with detailed analysis available through the various walks that are part of the submissions and aligned with the guidance provided.
  • Build effective relationship with cross functional teams and have regular communication channels.


Essential:
  • Metrics measurement and reporting
  • Expert in using MS-Office tool e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Teams, Power BI, Spunk, SQL, Data Visualization Tools.
