Overview of Role


This role will be a part of the Carrier Digital Team and is responsible for managing end to end efforts of the entire P2P process of a Carrier Digital (across all Business Units and Supporting Functions).  Individual will be responsible for supporting Procurement and A/P functions within the Digital Team, as well as operational stakeholders of all levels including collaboration with FP&A, Accounting and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities


  • Establish effective oversight of Digital spend to prevent value leakage and drive cost optimization through enhanced performance management and spend reduction initiatives.
  • Drive better visibility of budget allocated and spent across various Digital business functions.
  • Sound understanding and experience in managing budget and forecast processes, guidelines, policies.
  • Experienced in dealing with large organization budget allocation and tracking process.
  • Develop / improve the budgeting processes, introduce methods, tools, and templates.
  • Team management, co-ordination with multiple parties in multiple regions to track, manage and report.
  • Liaise with up/down-stream departments to seek data and other requirements.
  • Lead assigned projects to completion and focus on process stabilization.
  • Oversee, direct, and organize the work of finance and operations team.
  • Serve as the management liaison to the steer committee; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters and project status.
  • Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the BU and functional stakeholders informed of all critical issues.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
  • Oversight and review deliverables assigned to the team.
  • Provide timely strategic guidelines and ensure seamless execution of engagement.
  • Organize and drive periodic governance cadence with the steer co.
  • Provide initial signoffs on deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to timeline and coordinate with team to design the processes and formalize implementation.
  • Take a lead in stabilizing the process to provide MIS and data analytics on key data cuts like PO generation, invoice management, budget vs. spend, etc.

Basic Qualifications & Experience:


  • Graduation – Finance(Preferably a Commerce or MBA graduate)
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of work experience
  • Experience with ERP tools like SAP (S4 Hana), HFM and Ariba tools.
  • Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget.
  • Experience in a corporate finance with a strong understanding of procure to pay process.
  • Power BI, Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, Macros in excel will be advantage.
  • Strong financial modelling skills coupled with an understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls.
  • Knowledge of best practices for JIRA and JIRA Service Management administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, constantly changing, performance-driven environment.
  • Good communication skills, ability to engage and coordinate with global stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong decision-making skills and make sound judgment decisions.
