Job Description:
The scope of this position involves the handling the mechanical maintenance activities in a shift. It involves co-ordination with various internal stake holders such as Manufacturing, Safety, Quality Etc. to perform the activities. Compliance of the job with the safety / quality standards is one of the key requirements. It also involves the ability to maintain a balance between meeting, day to day issues and completing daily planned activities. The scope involves further, an interpersonal and communication skill, good planning & organization and problem-solving capability.
1. Condition monitoring of equipment for defects such as breakage and excessive wear &Tear.
2. Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery to keep the centerlines.
3. Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems and documentation.
4. Attending Breakdowns, identifying the root causes, documenting the failure, circulating the learnings and eliminating the same failures in future
5. Spares Identification, area wise segregation and Coordinate with store for right spare availability all the time
6. snag and punch list closure on time
7. Keeping track of spare inventories and all the action tracker (actions from DRR, CPs, RCAs…Etc.) and escalate for any risk of delay in the closure.
8. Ensuring basic tools and machinery are in working order by performing regular inspections.
9. Active participation in VL, Kaizen, MSE pillar programs and supporting the team on execution
10. Responsible for tracking your performance against the aligned objectives and targets.
11. Responsible for delivering the aligned KPIs of factory and escalate for any risk.
12. Keeping 100% compliance to all necessary SSW validations, trainings to execute day to day activity.
13. Attending Breakdowns and analysis with relevant TPM tools
14. Carrying out Preventive and Predictive checks for improving Asset health
15. Cross functional interaction with internal stake holders to ensure smooth work handover.
16. Align with Mars food/work safety standards & quality standards.
17. Maintaining the documentation for the shift activities
18. Spares Identification and Coordinate with store for right spare availability
19. Subject expertise on the Mechanical works
20. Understanding Operational issues and training on the same
21. Co-ordinate with contractors & vendors for Jobs required in Asset health checks.
22. Collaboration with Safety, Food safety, and Other Stake holders
23. Ensure the adherence of job to Sustainability, HACCP, GMP GHP, FSSAI requirements.
24. Most preferrable choice to have very good experience in Packaging machines.
