Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and safety-conscious teammates.
You'll spearhead our maintenance operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of service demands for our DEPOT. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial, Engineering, EHS, Quality, & SCM Team), coordinate maintenance activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of leading team briefings, deploying team members efficiently, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, but also assist the Maintenance Manager in strategic planning.
We’ll look to you for:
Effective team management and leadership
Ensuring team adherence to EHS and Quality policies
Providing real-time performance updates and ensuring process compliance
Maintaining open communication with team members and providing regular feedback
Driving continuous improvement and team development initiatives
Developing and reviewing team skills matrices and identifying training needs
Achieving SQCD targets for train maintenance and renovation/modernization activities

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience or understanding of rolling stock maintenance (preferably 6-8 years)
Knowledge of rail depot operations and rail industry regulations
Familiarity with SAP - GSI and Network Rail Rules and Regulations

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team
