Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Electrical 
Location: Goa
Position Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to oversee, maintain, and improve the electrical systems of our factory's machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Electrical Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components of factory machinery to ensure smooth operation.
Installation and Upgrades: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems, UPS, ensuring they meet safety standards.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime and increase operational efficiency.
PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in factory automation systems.
Electrical System Design: Design and modify electrical systems and schematics for existing and new equipment to improve reliability and safety.
Pneumatic System Design and Installation: Design, install, and optimize pneumatic control systems to improve production efficiency and meet operational requirements.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and electrical systems comply with local safety regulations, and oversee regular safety checks and audits.
Energy Efficiency Optimization: Analyze and improve the energy consumption of electrical systems to reduce factory energy costs.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of electrical installations, maintenance activities, and changes in system configurations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the mechanical, production, and maintenance teams to ensure coordinated and efficient factory operations.
Training and Development: Train factory personnel on the safe and effective operation of machinery and electrical systems, and provide ongoing technical support.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in PLC programming and electrical control systems.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
Preferred:
Experience with automated manufacturing systems.
Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design.
