Job Description - ML Engineer
We are seeking a talented ML Engineer to join our Core ML team at PayU. Our mission is to build a cutting-edge machine learning platform that empowers our business to achieve its goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including the development of foundational ML infrastructure and the exploration of emerging technologies like Generative AI. As an ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the platform that underpins PayUs top business initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to design, develop, and deploy robust ML solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the core ML platform, including data pipelines, feature stores, and model deployment infrastructure.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions leveraging the latest ML technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize ML models for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to open-source ML projects and communities.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Kubernetes, Kafka, and other relevant ML tools and frameworks.
• Experience with building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• A solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and their ML services.
• Passion for solving complex problems and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ML.
• Experience with ML Ops practices and tools is a plus.About the Team:
