About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager for Financial Reporting & Consolidation to join our team in Mumbai. This pivotal role entails overseeing the financial reporting processes across our Group Companies, ensuring compliance with both global and statutory standards, including IFRS and Indian GAAP. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring accurate group reporting, seamless statutory audits, and preparation for IPO readiness. You'll work closely with auditors and internal teams to maintain compliance within expected timelines and support the implementation of the ESG framework and BRSR readiness reporting. As a leader in financial governance, you will ensure adherence to statutory requirements and corporate policies, alongside enhancing internal controls and process automation to bolster our financial integrity.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in the review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and standalone financial statements of group companies to meet global and statutory requirements per IFRS and Indian GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate group reporting using the internal reporting tool.
  • Guarantee timely and correct financial reporting and a seamless statutory audit process.
  • Account for new transactions, prepare accounting memos, and provide guidance on accounting and reporting matters across the group.
  • Revamp financial statements for IPO readiness.
  • Liaise with auditors and internal teams to ensure compliance within expected timelines.
  • Prepare and review process documentation and Risk Control Matrix (RCM) for all group companies to ensure IFC/ICFR compliance.
  • Monitor ongoing IFC/ICFR compliance.
  • Implement the ESG framework for PayU India group companies.
  • Prepare for BRSR readiness and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including FEMA/RBI, MSME, and Company Law.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate/group financial policies and board requirements.
  • Update the Audit Committee on critical accounting, financial reporting, and controls matters.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the CS team for conducting board meetings, annual general meetings, and MCA forms and filings, among other tasks.

Requirements


  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 6 years of experience in statutory reporting, accounting advisory, or SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in working with IFRS and Indian GAAP standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and consolidation for group companies.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with ESG reporting and BRSR framework implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements, including FEMA/RBI regulations, MSME guidelines, and Company Law.
  • Proven track record in liaising with auditors and managing statutory and internal audits effectively.
  • Experience in developing and documenting financial policies and enhancing internal controls through process automation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams and drive strategic financial projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
