Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


  1. Preliminary health Assessment:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine guest’s eligibility for therapies.
  • Review medical history and current medications to identify potential contraindications.
  1. Therapy Initiation:
  • Explain the therapies as per established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare guests for treatment, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
  1. Monitoring and Documentation:
  • Monitor guests throughout treatments for any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and guest responses.
  • Highlight or report any unsafe or emergency situations to the Spa Management.
  1. Education and Support:
  • Provide guests with education regarding the therapies, expected outcomes, and aftercare.
  • Answer guest questions and provide emotional support as needed.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement guest care plans.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss guest progress and therapy effectiveness.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for each therapy.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment used in therapies.
  1. Continuing Education:
  • Engage in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in therapeutic treatments.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background:
    1. Registered Nurse (RN)/ General duty assistant: A valid RN license, typically requiring a 12+plus 18months training in nursing care.
    2. Clinical Experience: Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in fields like rehabilitation, sports medicine, or Medi spas.
  1. Skills:
    1. Patient Assessment: Ability to evaluate guest health conditions and determine appropriateness for therapies.
    2. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with equipment used in each therapy.
    3. Communication Skills: Ability to explain procedures to patients and provide education on aftercare.
    4. Attention to Detail: Monitoring patients closely during treatments to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  1. Continuing Education:
    1. Ongoing training to stay updated on advancements and safety protocols related to these therapies.
