Your responsibilities 


• Manages both Freight & Export in a small to over sized project
• Coordinates deliveries with the customer and customs agents


• Should handle domestic and international dispatches as per contract


• Should have strong knowledge in LC and Trade compliance
• Keeps contact with  internal technical departments and suppliers to ensure delivery of required  technical documentation for import and operation of the equipment
• Obtains necessary information on import documentation and arrange the necessary import certificates as and when required according to country legislation


• Approves shipping costs directly related to the project to follow up on shipping costs
• Complies all export documentation necessary in order to invoice customers for the specific products ordered
• Handles bank documentation including payment instructions in order to prepare for future payments
• Participates in the necessary export/import control procedure to secure that this is conducted according to legislation
• Performs various shipping and logistics administrative tasks such as updating lists, schedules, approving of invoices and preparing of shipping documentation
• Manages carrier payments and audits carrier invoices.
• Builds up and keeps contact with necessary customs  and certification agents
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities


What you bring 


  • Good communication and analytical skills


  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Transportation Management Systems


Qualification


Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain


Experience


10 -15- years’ experience in Logistics and Supply Chain
