To manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Roles & Responsibilities for Direct Import:-
Co-ordinating with respective Operations Team on project confirmation and Write-up for Imports
Forwarding Documentation and Co-ordination with Customs Brokers for Duty Exemption Application
Obtaining Internal Approvals on Freight and provide Approval in SendIt (Baker Hughes Portal)
Co-ordinating with Shipping Location for obtaining pre-alert on time
Forwarding pre-alert to Customs Broker and continuous follow for clearance as per local law up till last mile delivery
Intimating to Store team / Operation / AMO team to complete the GRN process (Baker Hughes Process)
Updating milestone in SAP once the shipment delivered in Baker Hughes facility (Baker Hughes Portal)
Updating Import Tracker post arrival/clearance of shipments
Roles & Responsibilities for Block Transfer:-
Receiving Information from Operations Team with Tool List to do the Block transfer from one contract to another contract.
Identifying past import details along with post clearance documents and providing to Customs Broker to prepare Block Transfer Application
Co-ordinating with Customs Broker and Customer for finalising Request letter, No Objection for transfer and Final Documentation for Block transfer application.
Co-ordinating with Customs Broker to obtain Customs Acknowledgment on Block Transfer Permit provided by Customer.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Have minimum 5 years Experience in Oil & Gas Activities (Import / Export)
Have worked 5 years (and above) in Customs Broker's as an added benefit to the business.
Have knowledge of Import of Vessels into India i.e. Ministry of Defence Permit (MOD), Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA), Special Period License (SPL), Naval Inspection Documentation (NSC)
Have experience with Microsoft Excel (Power BI – is an advantage)
Have good knowledge with SAP.
