Job Title: Logistics Specialist 2

Purpose of the position: To assist the Logistics leader with tasks to ensure that deliveries for Leica are delivered to correct location in timely manner with appropriate documents. Also provide the Customer Service team with Proof of delivery for shipments completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track, report, and coordinate shipment deliveries to ensure we meet projected revenue monthly goals. Month end reports- extra activities, providing PODs for revenue invoicing.
• Ensure that shipments are picked up on time from airports to avoid storage charges.
• Re-routes/address changes.
• Communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, Distribution, and Customer Service concerning any load/delivery issues as situations arise.
• Other issues related to logistics
• BU Returns Exports- documentation, AES filing, record keeping. – Canada Returns- Documentation, Record keeping.
• Shipping Labels, for Canada and US and Exports to BU’s
• Expedited Quotes

Training Responsibilities: (Required)

• Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.
• For people managers, ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time.

• Years of experience- 2-3 years with Logistics background
• Qualification – Graduate in any discipline
