Job Description

Position Title:                          Logistic Manager

Employment Type:                  Full Time  

Salary:                                    RS 45 LPA depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:  

 An India-based chemical company.

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations and minimize stock issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies while leading and motivating a team of logistics professionals.
  • Evaluate and select logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Handle import/export clearances, manage 3rd-party warehouses, and ensure timely shipment clearance to meet customer requirements 


Skills

Qualifications: 

  • 45 years old and below
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience managing transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance.
  • Must have strong knowledge in chemical industry
