Position Title:                          Logistic ManagerEmployment Type:                  Full Time  Salary:                                    RS 45 LPA depending on experience and qualifications Benefits:                                  Annual leave and medical insurance for self and family Job Location:                          Thane, India  About the Client:   An India-based chemical company. Job Description:Oversee transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations and minimize stock issues.Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies while leading and motivating a team of logistics professionals.Evaluate and select logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Handle import/export clearances, manage 3rd-party warehouses, and ensure timely shipment clearance to meet customer requirements 

Skills

Qualifications: 45 years old and below Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or any related field Minimum of 12 years of experience managing transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance.Must have strong knowledge in chemical industry
