What success looks like in this role:


Role Purpose Incumbents in this classification are generally responsible for planning material requirements based on manufacturing schedules, client product orders, service parts requirements, developing inventory plans and outlooks, producing requirements forecasts, placing purchase orders, expediting inbound deliveries, scheduling customer deliveries. Incumbent may also be responsible for development of life cycle based service and logistics plans; the establishment of service methodologies which will meet customer expectations and net parts cost; the continuous monitoring of performance and adjustment of plans to ensure both the clients' and the Unisys objectives are met; on certain major accounts, provides client specific focus on total product service delivery planning and execution; and other similar areas including: • Identify business processes used to support pre-bid, bid, implementation and post implementation activity. • Development of a global capabilities database of service methodologies and inventory solutions. • Maximize use of theater specific and global inventory solutions, e.g., Unisys Owned Inventory, Customer Owned Inventory, and Manufacturers Owned Inventory. • Support ITO & PLS costing efforts by acting as Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) for multi-vendor product support, to include mean time between failure and mean time to repair information. • Collaborates with theater Account Management organizations to monitor and adjust support solutions for key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide efficient costing services at the local and global levels in support of sales and BE (Business Enablement) activities.
• Establish cost efficient implementations capitalizing on available FES resources.
• Provide post implementation support, via usage and financial analysis tools, to support FES contract profitability analysis.
• Support Sr. manager in collaborating with GFS business owners to support appropriate target projects which will result in significant improvement of cost or service level objectives.
• Execute those processes in the specific areas assigned under current organizational responsibilities, such as order management..
• Develops/provide solutions to a variety of problems of basic scope and complexity.
• Accomplishes results through, and acts as an advisor to senior managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
• Assists in the development of objectives and short range goals for the assigned area.


You will be successful in this role if you have:


• A minimum of 2 years’ of experience and an BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Experience Multi-vendor product service supply chain management support, including implementation of field support plans.
• OEM supplier support and OEM sub-contract support programs.
• Working knowledge of Unisys GFS support applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Moderate Forecasting, planning, implementation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and prospects to understand and anticipate their business needs.
• Displays a bias for results and decisiveness by meeting the most aggressive timelines for delivering high quality solutions.
• Working knowledge of the service supply chain
• A fundamental knowledge of help desk services..
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-location team
