General Summary:
As a Test engineer in Qualcomm Location Technology group, you will be involved in software verification & characterization of GNSS receivers, enabling location sensing capabilities in to billions of devices worldwide. You will leverage your creativity and technical skills in software quality verification of next generation of Location Technology for Automotive market segments. Position involves test planning, test design, test development and execution of Location Technology software on embedded products running on multiple operating systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Test case design & documentation per software requirements & architecture compliant with requirement to test traceability
- Hands-on test execution, issue triage, support debug and test status reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with global teams interfacing with developers, other test teams and customers
- Maintain product health dashboards, formulate test-exit criterion and sign-off for product/feature quality
- Develop automation & results analysis scripts. Professional level work experience in one or more of scripting languages (Perl/Python/PowerShell/C/C++…) is a must
- Experience with test & measurement equipment, ability to read HW schematic and identify rework is desirable
Below experience would be a plus-
- Prior work experience with Qualcomm teams and tool chains
- Creation of test frameworks & test automation environment (Perl/ Python/ Jenkins for test…)
- Expertise in validation/ testing, Test Automation, debug & Triage, test automation in any of the Android/Linux/Windows/Android driver domains
- Experience in the domain of location technology and basic awareness of GNSS/Location technologies
