Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications, particularly in the LoanIQ environment.
Software Requirements:- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA).
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Bugzilla, TestRail).
- Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus.
Overall Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for LoanIQ applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a defect tracking system.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and provide QA input.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from users.
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Technical Skills:Experience:- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute tests and document results, identifying any defects found.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements.
- Review and provide feedback on functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct UAT sessions and gather feedback to ensure user satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and issues.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes and tools.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in financial applications.
Soft Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to quality assurance challenges.
