Loan Counselors needed in a Financial Institution in Bandra East, Mumbai

Job Summary:
The
Loan Counsellor is responsible for reaching out to student leads, educating
them about loan options, converting these leads into loan applications, and
ensuring smooth processing and follow-up until disbursement. The ideal
candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric
approach, and a strong understanding of the student loan process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Conversion:Contact student leads provided by
the marketing team.Explain loan products and benefits
to prospective students.Assess the financial needs of
students to recommend suitable loan options.Follow up with leads to convert them
into loan applications.Loan Application Processing:Assist students in completing loan
application forms accurately.Collect and verify necessary
documents for loan applications.Liaise with lenders to process
applications efficiently.Customer Service:Provide continuous support and
guidance to students throughout the loan process.Address and resolve any queries or
concerns related to loan applications.Ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction through proactive communication.Follow-Up and Coordination:Track application status and keep
students informed about the progress.Coordinate with lenders to ensure
timely disbursement of loans.Maintain accurate records of
interactions and loan application progress.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Business, or related field.Previous experience in a customer
service or sales role, preferably in the financial services sector.Strong understanding of loan
processes and financial products.Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM
software.Skills:Customer-oriented with a
problem-solving mindset.Ability to work independently and
manage multiple tasks.Attention to detail and
organizational skills.Persuasive and goal-oriented.
