As a Treasury Professional in our “Commercial & Investment Banking Treasury (CIBT) Liquidity Analytics team”, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage deposit rates end-to-end, from conducting economic impact analysis to executing portfolio rate changes.
- Perform research and analysis to inform pricing strategy across segments and manage data files for distribution to various stakeholders.
- Develop internal reporting packages and metrics, and create presentations for CIB senior management, business segment leadership, or the broader CIB audience on economic and strategic deposit-related topics.
- Execute and drive strategic projects designed to enhance deposit portfolio management capabilities and support smart decision-making across the deposit book.
- Liaise with internal functional groups, including Product, Banking, Sales, Client Service, Implementations, Finance, and Operations, to execute deposit strategy and troubleshoot client issues.
- Design and build new reports that provide management with information on product performance, portfolio insights, product pricing, and other key KPIs highlighting business/segment performance.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on various business subjects, providing valuable data-driven insights to facilitate business decision-making.
- Liaise with controllers in case of discrepancies and ensure a detailed understanding of actuals.
- Take responsibility and accountability for maintaining robust quality control and standards.
- Handle ad hoc projects and tasks as requested.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- CA/ CFA/ MBA - Finance (Tier 2) or equivalent qualified having 4-8 years’ experience in Financial Services, and/or controller/regulatory reporting background
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills – has understanding of cracking a problem statement and explaining it to the team/ working independently, such that outcome can be achieved quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with hard deadlines
- Expert control on the hefty Excels related to data extraction, consolidation and report finalization. This involves extraction of data from various tools/systems and alignment of the information as per business need to draw insights and present facts to senior management
- Work well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
- Curious, energetic and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
