Candidate will be responsible for supporting embedded software design and development for NVIDIA Tegra SOC. NVIDIA's Tegra SoC platform is at the forefront of the computing revolution, offering robust solutions for the embedded and automotive markets
This role offers the outstanding opportunity to work with ground breaking embedded computing and artificial intelligence technologies built around the NVIDIA Tegra SoC platform.
Engineer will contribute to the development, integration, optimization, and testing NVIDIA Tegra embedded, automotive stack software. Engineer will have a deep understanding of embedded systems and software, Linux kernel internals, and user-space applications, along with strong C programming skills and system knowledge.
Additionally, you will integrate NVIDIA software technologies into various NVIDIA Tegra platforms, including platform bring-up, firmware driver porting and integration, and use case development.
Engineer will be collaborating with an international team of hardware, system and software engineers in developing software for the next generation of the embedded processors and SoCs
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a System Software Engineer who will work in the following areas:
Enhancing and building embedded software for Tegra SoC-based product
Linux kernel device driver development and integration, hardware configuration, and performance tuning for Tegra Soc platform
Demonstrating proficiency with Tegra SoC, including inter-processor communications, CPU architecture, IO, memory management, power, and clock design
Working with the Linux kernel and open-source software communities on embedded software design and development
Additionally, working on the latest NVIDIA DriveOS SW software platform and being part of the complete system development life cycle
Collaborating with team members to understand software use cases and requirements
What we need to see:
B.E/B.Tech/MS/M.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science Engineering
2+ years of software development experience with a significant focus on Linux kernel driver development
Excellent C programming/debugging skills
Good understanding of programming languages and processor architecture, Operating System fundamentals
Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone environment
Strong communication skills and motivation, with outstanding analytical & Problem-solving skills
Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, etc
A strong academic background
